Carolyn's lifelong passion for food began in Michigan, where as a young girl she helped to prepare meals for her family in her mother's kitchen.
Carolyn's enjoyment of creating in the kitchen led her to early jobs overseeing co-op and summer camp kitchens. Requests for her food increased, and she began cooking for private clients, retreats both local and abroad, Roxanne's restaurant in Marin, and parties and weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Carolyn Davis Catering was formed in 2003. Combining her culinary experience with a background in organic gardening, Carolyn brings a quality to the table both rustic and elegant. Her style is creative and original, driven by our area's abundance of seasonal, local, and sustainable ingredients.
